Subject: Teacher resignation letter
Respected Mr. Hannah,
I am writing this letter to inform you about my decision to resign from the post of a science teacher. After serving for more than 10 years at this school, I have taken this decision to resign because of the deteriorating health conditions. The effective date of my resignation is 1st July 2013.
With my resignation letter, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the faculty members, teacher-in charge and other members linked to the science departments for their endless supports and trust. I thoroughly enjoyed honing my teaching skills at such a renowned school across the city and have gained lots of experience in the profession. Due to my inability to speak and problems related to asthma, I have to resign from the post of the science teacher.
My 10 years of experience has been both rewarding and memorable. I have always strived to share my 100 percent knowledge with the students so that they can excel in their career.
I hereby bid you all a respectful goodbye and look forward to staying in touch. For any kind of information or assistance that you may need, please contact me on 284294.
Thanking you.
Sincerely,
Martha Wills
